36 years after the original (and iconic) film was released, Tim Burton brings Michael Keaton (Beetlejuice), Winona Ryder (Lydia Deetz) and Catherine O’Hara (Delia Deetz) back to our screens in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. This time, the all-star cast is joined by Jenna Ortega (playing Astrid, Lydia’s daughter), Willem Dafoe, Monica Bellucci and Justin Theroux.
In the sequel, three generations of Deetz women return to Winter River following a family tragedy. Around that time Beetlejuice also begins to reappear in Lydia’s life, showing up at different moments. Convenient, really, considering the fact he’ll be needed when Astrid discovers a portal to the afterlife…
